That's enough get up and go for 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Additionally, 785 pound-feet of torque and electric four-wheel-drive is more than enough to handle 9,500 pounds of towing and payloads up to 1,300 pounds.
Thanks to the Ultium technology, one of the common problems with EVs is addressed by making fast charging possible and EV ownership even more practical. The Sierra EV will offer a generous 400 miles of range on one charge and can recharge at a rate of 100 miles per 10 minutes. As the flagship future truck, we expect nothing less than the most advanced connected and entertainment technology features to be included in the first-generation Sierra EV. Physical buttons will accompany the screen for ease of use and less driver distraction.
Behind the steering wheel will be an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch color head-up display that you can customize to show you the most pertinent, real-time vehicle information. You'll also have a wireless smartphone charging pad for cord mitigation. Other high-tech features include automatic start. No need for a pushbutton or an ignition; as long as the keyfob is in your pocket, the engine will start with a tap of the brake pedal.
